The Grunwald Battlefield (15 July 1410) is the site of one of medieval Europe's greatest battles. The Polish-Lithuanian army under King Władysław Jagiełło defeated the Teutonic Order — Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen was killed.
Grunwald Battle Museum — multimedia exhibits, original swords, weapons, helmets from the 15th century. Grunwald Monument (1960) by sculptor Jerzy Bandura. Annual battle reconstruction in mid-July — Europe's largest historical reenactment with 5,000 knights.
Visitor route: 3 km walking trail with 15 information points (PL/EN/DE/RU). Conference center, café, parking.
