Stańczyki Viaducts are two monumental railway bridges over the Błędzianka river valley in the Suwałki region — the "Masurian Aqueduct" or "Polish Brooklyn Bridge". Built 1912-1926 for the never-completed Gołdap-Żytkiejmy railway line.
5 arches, 200 m length, 36.5 m height. Reinforced concrete construction in Roman style with arcades. Poland's tallest railway bridges.
Filmed in Wajda's "Man of Marble". Viewing point over the Błędzianka gorge — especially beautiful in autumn. Nature reserve surrounding.
Free access 24/7. Parking 5 PLN. You can walk under the bridge or climb to the top (stairs).
