The Marian Sanctuary in Święta Lipka is a pearl of Warmian baroque and one of the most important Marian pilgrimage sites in Poland. The basilica dates from 1693, designed by architect Jerzy Ertl. The interior is covered with frescoes from 1722 by Maciej Meyer.
The famous organ from 1721 by Jan Mosengel — during concerts the angel figurines move and play trumpets. Daily organ shows at 10:00, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:00 — with moving figurines.
The miraculous icon of Our Lady of Holy Linden — object of pilgrimages since the 15th century. The cloisters with 22 chapels surround the basilica. Declared a Polish Monument of History (UNESCO Pomnik Historii) in 1983.
